One thing I ‘like’ about PTPL is the management urges money from all the staff to make them happy. What does that mean anyway? Well for example during the time of what so called as ‘Family Day’ every staff must pay for every penny spent for the occasion. Is it suppose to be the college responsibility to pay or should I say to sponsor the freaking ‘Family Day’ because it is the day for the staff, for them to get together and having a jolly good time? Well one thing I realized some (or not too much to say almost everyone) are not in the mood for the family day because they have to pay for it and the other torture is they are actually being forced to come or they will receive discipline actions from the PTPL authority. Don’t you think that is sick? Everyone has the right to say something whether they like it or not. Well, if some of them refuse to go just let them be. They are already being force to pay for it and now are being force to go. In one case that happened to another friend of mine is she is being threatened because she cannot join the family day. She has a solid reason but still she has to go. I can still recall her sad and mad expression during the time. Not long after the family day, she also quit from PTPL and continues her life at other learning institution.
I have a lot of true story to share about PTPL where this is just the beginning but my main intention is to warn anyone out there not to work or thinking to work in that college because you will be sorry in the end, seriously. My 10 months experience taught me enough and I will try to tell you each and every one of them. Just wait till I tell you about what so called as ‘PTPL Annual Dinner’.
